Shakespeare Links

Home base for Shakespeare teaching in this country  is the Folger Shakespeare Library . And now they’ve created a brand new amazing resource. Folger Digital Texts allows you to search the plays, copy text for educational purposes and just generally have instant access to really beautiful on-line versions of the plays.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has extraordinary teaching tools. I’d also recommend downloading their manifesto. I’m in total agreement.

I used to use the MIT Complete Works  to pull text for teaching ALL the TIME. I might be switching to the Folger Digital Texts . . . but still discovering that.

I use Open Source Shakespeare to find words, phrases, anything I need to search a text for.

These three panel cartoon versions of the plays will come in very handy, I think. They’re also very funny.
